Wild Wood London has grown from a love of flowers and building long-lasting relationships with clients, suppliers and venues who trust us enough to add us to their recommended suppliers list. Each event my team and I work on is bespoke and we are sure to give them each the tailor-made treatment.
I am a “people person” and want to remove the stress out of planning your big day or corporate event. I will listen carefully to your brief and talk through the best, most impactful use of your budget by sharing my knowledge and tips. I will arrange site visits, liaise with the venue and make sure you have the wedding flowers of your dreams. I want to know all about the little details, your dress, stationery, the venue and your proposal. Your quote is based on building a picture of your big day. I have trusted suppliers within the calligraphy, photography and cake and bridal wear realms and adore sharing my little black book. My team and I work collaboratively. If a certain bloom has a significant meaning to you or your family, we will make sure we find a way to weave this into your chosen designs. If you need a particular colour for your hand-dyed silk ribbons, we can source this for you.
Background
My Background is in Womenswear fashion design and I worked as a fashion designer within the design teams at Burberry and Allsaints. Researching, exploring vintage markets and delving into art exhibitions across the globe have all informed and inspired the creative process that I now apply to floristry.
My love of florals started as a little girl, watching my mother paint watercolour pictures of flowers picked from the Kent countryside. When I relocated to London I was always drawn to the flower markets from Colombia Road to New Covent Garden Flower Market and would spend hours selecting flowers and experimenting with colour combinations and ideas. I trained at McQueens, working with the industry’s top florists, before launching Wild Wood London.
I adore the variety of floristry. Each day is different from the next. My days might include meeting fashion houses and creating installations for their influencer events to quoting for brides, visiting and exploring new venues or meeting local growers to learn about new varieties and their plans for the upcoming season. This is why I do what I do. My team and I aim to be at the forefront of innovative seasonal floristry.
