It was such a pleasure to be asked to provide Summer Wedding Flowers at Holland Park Orangery for Iman and Nasib’s two-part wedding.

Iman and Nasib are based in Dubai and we didn’t get to meet until the big day. Iman had a strong idea of how she wanted her flowers to look and hadn’t had the best experience with her previous florist. As a result of our extensive discovery call, I wanted to turn a previously negative experience for Iman into a positive collaboration that was as enjoyable as possible whilst also removing some of the stresses involved when planning a wedding. We decided on a white, green and pink colour palette with pops of dark red flowers and foliage.
“My wedding flowers were probably the single most standout feature of the whole event”
– Iman Dawoud
For the first wedding, my team and I decorated The Orangery, in Holland Park. A beautiful venue set within a mini oasis in the centre of London. The bronze statues were adorned with garlands and the two large flower-filled urns framed the mirrored back wall. To complete the venue we created a wild and whimsical deconstructed arch.
As this was a summer wedding, seasonal blooms and foliages were hand-picked from New Covent Garden Flower Market. The flowers included peonies and deliciously scented David Austin garden roses, sanguisorba, mimosa and stock, alongside nigella, eucalyptus, and cotinus.
